Planning a New Jersey Wedding? This styled shoot shows the dream TEAM you need

Last month in April, I had the opportunity to bring together a dream team of local vendors for my very first styled wedding shoot. As a wedding photographer based in Northern New Jersey, I wanted to create something that would keep me creatively inspired and showcase the incredible talent in our local wedding community. What came to life was better than I imagined!

We hosted the shoot at The Graycliff in Moonachie, New Jersey (USA), a timeless venue that recently renovated their bridal suite with the most stunning soft light and elegant finishes. The staff there was beyond welcoming and supportive — they truly understood the vision and gave us the space to bring it all to life.

Our concept centered around crafting editorial, romantic, and timeless imagery that still felt real. I intentionally left room for each vendor to bring their own artistry to the table, without over-directing. That trust led to some standout moments that felt beautifully effortless.

We worked with both a real couple (who got engaged just days before!) and a model couple — giving us the best of both worlds: genuine chemistry and high-end, stylized portraits.

From hair and makeup to flat-lays, stationery, cake, and florals — every element came together with intention:

  • @belfiorebridalboutique provided flowing, romantic gowns that fit the mood perfectly.

  • @groomsclub_ styled two elevated looks: a classic black tux and a rich, deep blue suit — both modern takes on timeless menswear.

  • @wildbloomsnj designed modern ceremony florals with two asymmetrical floral pillars instead of a traditional arch — fresh, artistic, and full of spring tones.

  • @crybabycakes.co created a vanilla cake with raspberry simple syrup and berry filling. We brought it outdoors for a more intimate “cake cut” that ended up being one of our favorite moments of the day.

Behind the scenes, collaboration made everything feel seamless. @throughmyeyes.nm kept things on track as our content creator, while @hanaphotos_ (a photographer I regularly collaborate with) captured beautiful in-between moments when I stepped out from behind the camera.

From start to finish, there was a quiet magic to the day. It was less about perfection and more about connection — between the couples, the vendors, and the shared creative energy in the room. I’m beyond proud of what we created together.

For couples planning their wedding in New Jersey (or anywhere in the US), I hope this shoot offers both inspiration and insight. These are the types of wedding vendors who not only deliver incredible work — they also show up with heart.

Whether you connect with just one vendor or all of us — this shoot is proof that a strong creative team can make your day not just beautiful, but unforgettable.
